PP19 crashes while previewing .r3d files

After updating to PP19, on average, every 10th time i click on a film in my project folder so that i can preview it in my source monitor, i get the rainbow ball until i force quit PP. This was happening every 50th time in PP18, but now it is really halting my work.

It only happens with my .r3d files from RED cameras.

It only happens while using CUDA acceleration.

Anyone experience anything similar or know what to do?
