Im working on a really long project. its a podcast so its audio only, just getting though an assembly and its about 5hour long on the timeline.

When I open the project  and choose my point on the timeline and press play - it doesn't play. After a few minuets I try to quit PP and its frozen. When I force quit I then get an error message saying there was a "sorry, there was a serious error..."

I can't work !

Using a MacBook Pro 2018

Mojave 10.14.3

2.2 ghz intel core i7

16gb 2400 mhz ddr4

intel uhd graphics 630 1536 mb

Everything is up to date. computer restarted about 10 times. over 50g free on the MacBook. been at this all night.

Please Help!

I guess from what I read in previous posts that there are issues with Macbook Pro 2018 version when it comes to audio.

Something related to the T2 chipset

    ok.. Not good.

Everything has been working great for the past year with no problems at all - This is new, just started this week. The "T2 ChipSet" - if that's what is the issue - has not changed

    So what can I do?

you can try the routine steps in premiere pro for now:

    01. Trash Preferences

    02. Clean Media Cache

    03. Delete Render Files
