PP2024 wont open a project after closing it!

Question

Since updating to Premiere Pro 2024 on my new and extremely powerful MacbookPro, whenever I save and close a project, I get an error message when I try to open the project again:

"The project appears to be damaged, it cannot be opened".

I've tried clearing the cache and all the settings when opening PP. I've tried re-installing it. Nothingn works.

Does anyone know of a possible solution to this. I lose every client project I have, just by closing the project.

I've also tried using PP 2023, as well as trying to open Auto-Saves, but nothing works.  Same error every time. I've got clients wiating and am having to rebuild entire projects because of this.
