Question

Pr 24.0.3 Transcription text panel crashes when moving to different sequence.

M2 Ultra Studio running 13.6.1 with multiple monitors and mercury transmit active.

Problem:

When editing in a pancake setup or just multiple tabs switching between sequences will result in the text panel 1. Stop tracking on the sequence or 2. Error out and give the message in the attached screen shot.

I've been able to replicate it with a single monitor and mercury transmit off. I've also tried the "separate displays have spaces" trick to no avail. I leave that off as I don't use the program monitor for viewing and it only affects that for my setup.

Any insight or expereinces is appreciated!

@intheoryitshouldwork I'm sorry you're hitting this. We have a fix coming in the next version of Premiere Pro, in the mean time if you are seeing this often you could use the Premiere Pro Beta version which you can install side-by-side with the main application and use until the next version is released. Your projects can move between the Beta (currently v24.2) and release app (v24.0.3) without an issue.
