Pr 26 BUG: windows loose focus in multicam

Cannot find my previous topic about this issue, so I have to start a new one, and I have an update.

The issue: when inside a multicam if you try and change settings in the Lumetri color panel for some of the tracks there, the active window looses focus as soon as you do it, and the Effect Controls window will say “Multiple clips selected” though you select only one clip, obviously. This is how it looks:

  • restarting Pr, applying another instance of a lumetri, deleting cache, resetting preferences - nothing helps, or helps for one second. The issue always comes back.
  • This issue started to happen in Premiere 25.6.x, goes on in the current 26.0.2

Steps to reproduce:

  • start a project, import your files
  • create a multicam sequence. I used 2 cameras + external sound in wav.
  • start working with multicam.
  • go inside multicam (ctrl+click), apply colorgrading to the video tracks, apply a podcast preset to the external mic audio track. At this point or later when you adjust the colors in the Lumetri tab for any of the video tracks this starts to happen.

Possible cause (most likely): a Source monitor open when you are inside the multicam and the Program monitor is active. Should you close the Source monitor, the issue is gone. How you open the Source monitor - you may accidentally double click the multicam sequence instead ot ctrl+clicking it to go inside of it. So this always happens when you are inside the multicam sequence and both the source and the program mons are open, though you can clearly be in the Program monitor.

And other bugs of the multicams, just reminding for the have not been fixed since 25.6.x - no audio waveform preview when audio filters are applied to the audio tracks inside a multicam (and NO workaround helps, none!), changing scale of a clip leads to jittering and glitching when you are inside a multicam and the multicam view is active and the biggest bug - switching camera angles doesn't work when the multicam sequence is on a track other than the first one.

Please, Adobe, take this seriously, because these bugs ruin the workflow of at least one news production studio with 1000+ personal.
