Premier is crashing each time its opened, I try rendering
Ive run into a major problem, Ive still got a fair bit to do but my computer keeps hard crashing and resetting when ever I try and render what I have so car and even when premier has restarted...
Rendering is necessary to have it render smoothly and more so export the video
Last night I started to notice it when I tried the render in to out , and kept crashign the computer, I worked out is i dont try I could continue to work but not it instantly crashes and reserts the computer as soon as the project opens and I tried the impot the project into a new project, it opens then as the project is not on the time like but as soon as you click the project to move it to the time line (its in a folder in the project files called "This is the project"
Then crash resets. This was supposed to be handed in for todays deadline for 5.30pm lesson
IUve added the project file on its own and info on specs but the filder with all the assets , rushes (ie like indesign package) nearly 4 gb.
thats too big even for we transfer so ive used winrar software to first put the lot into a zin zip file then split itno a 2 part winrar file so the two parts can be sent separately.
Plus another for all the project work
In additio to 2 more 1tb SSDs mostly clear and used for the cache and scratch discs
So a little video on premier should not be any problem for it.
It seems to work before the last hours when I started to try and render my work at whihc point it just hard crash and resets the computer
So not sure what to do to get the work done
As I dont know if you have wion war Ive dont it as a stx (self extracting ) pair that contains the application to open them.
I can do this again ans do as an ordering win rar pair but then you will need the software to pen it.
Its as simple as extracting a wip file only instead of right clicking the winzip file and extract you do that with the pair of (or mulitple) zip file set and extract ore
With the winrar pair think you just put both int he same fiolder after downloading from the links in theis email then do it.

This should give you a zip file, extract that to get the Premier project folder
a win rar compressed file is like a win zip file only chopped into chucks so can be sent separately due to file size limits on we transfer.
I can also send this as just a regular win rar file byt then you will need to get the win rar software yourself>

Ive
Cleared the cache
- Run: sfc /scannow,
- Un and reinstalled Adobe premier
- Reinstalled the Nvidia graphics card Drivers
- Opened premier presssign shift then cleared everything, cache, preferences and there are no plugins
- Reinstalled the computer motherboard chip set firmware up date on the computer
- Pressed shift as openign premier, cleared everything
- Tried to set the computer to use only software encoding
- Moved the scratch disco and cache folders to new discs
- The computer had plenty of processing power, ram, ssd space a really good grahics card
- Uninstalled and reinstalled Premier pro
- Updated the computer mother boards chip setm grpahic card dreivers and p[icked the studio ones not the games ones
- Got the latest version of Windows
- This is a super powerful AMD Thread Ripper computer with 24 cores
- 64 GB ram
- A Geforce trx 3080 grahics card (see Below)
