Question

Premier CS6 - Automatic Sequence Length Detection.

When I start a new sequence if I drag around the clips, cut them.. whatever the "timeline" range kind of automatically adjusts to the end point of the last clip in the sequence. Sometimes that doesn't happen, I am not sure why.. I think if you ever change the range it breaks the auto adjust. Anyway the only way I have found to get the auto-adjust back is to start a new clip and paste into it all the data form other other sequence. Now the auto range thing works.

Is there a way to enable this in the sequence without doing this?

    That is normal behaviour.

If you do not want that turn off Work Area Bar.

I know it is "normal behaviour" I want to know if there is a way to turn the auto -length back on once it has stopped.

How do you turn of Work Area Bar and what would that do?

Right click on the sequence name in the timeline: uncheck Work Area Bar.

I cannot find a online help for cs6 anymore.

Have to open your own copy and search for work area bar.
