Hey I upgraded to Premier 2017 and starting problems
It was a serious mistake
As soon as I import a file

is this happen in a fresh clean install ?

whats your OS ?

what type of file you are trying to import ? size ? format ?

its hard to know what the cause specifically but i would do this to see if its going to work

- rename your folder that contain the files

- delete all cache media and cache media data base

- import videos one by one if its crash from the first one try to import a different video and see if its going to crash
