Premier pro and Audition sound issue

Hi all

Having an issue with editing Audition audio clips.

Basically, when I select edit in audition, make changes, then go back into premier pro. The audio loses treble for the first portion then corrects itself, almost like a fade. And sometimes it doesn't actually transfer the changes back into premier pro...

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Yes I do...

Depending upon the effects used, it normally should work. One of the de-noise effects though has to work by sampling the clip. That always is a bit of trouble in timeline use. So 2 seconds of pre-timeline "handles" are necessary for that effect.

I tend to use the Edit/send sequence to Audition which is a different process. Among other things non-destructive. And uses the Multitrack form of Audition for the advanced Essential Sound tab there.

Which path to Audition are you using? Send clip or send sequence?

right-click on the audio clip in Premiere, "Edit with Adobe Audition".....

And you save in Audition before going back?
