Premier Pro Audio Issue

So I've had this problem for a while if I manually start a new sequence for some reason only the left audio channel plays? However if I was to create a new sequence from clip in the project tab it works fine. The reason why this is an issue is because I have an edit I've done that I need multiple aspect ratios and need to copy and paste the edit into a manual made sequence and then I have to adjust sizes. Hence why this audio issu is getting in the way of progress.
