Every time I am viewing clips in Media Browser tab, and I drag a clip to the sequence, premier switches to Project tab - i have to reclick Media browser each time to drag additional clips to sequence.
This did not used to happen, it is just annoying and time consuming to keep switching tabs - anyone know a fix?

This is as design when you drag the clip to the sequence and that media doesn’t present in the project panel, It add media to project panel also.
Media browser add media directly from the system to add the media in the Sequences it should have to added in project panel thats why it switch to project panel.
What you can do is select multiple clip and right click select "import" all media added in project panel then you can drag to sequence.
Or you can request for feature.
