Premier Pro has stopped functioning

I am a student and I have been using PP 2020 now for the past month without any problems until it stopped yesterday. I first had trouble exporting a project but after it eventually exported the programme no longer works properly. I can open PP and load projects but the ability to playback breaks down after a few minutes. I can no longer render as it stops a third of the way through. I can still click on the interface so it's not frozen. It does crash after a while. I've tried clearing the cache, updating, restarting numerous times and the issue still persists.
