Premier Pro Premiere Pro Version 25.2.3 Build 4 crashing

Premier Pro started crashing today and now it is constant. I saved to a new file name and it stopped for a while but it is back and is crashing every few seconds to a minute. I started reopening with the shift key to clear the cash but it won't even allow that now. It completely skips the screen that will allow me to clear the cache.

Started today

Has happened 19+ times

Sometimes it happens when I'm scrolling but it keeps happening no matter what I do.

I have updated and restarted my computer, I have restarted it many times I'm only working on a small 20 second video clip without sound. sooooooooooo frustrating.

I have hit send report many times but, I can't see that anyone is paying attention as noone has contacted me back.

Thank you for your patience @Robb W. The team took a look and asked if you have an external graphics card in use? Would you be able to unplug the eGPU and see if the issues persist? Or do you know if any of the pen/touch drivers for your system may have been updated or be in need of an update as well?

Has the team looked at the report yet it has been several days now, Premiere Pro is nearly unusable at this point if you count crashing 20+ times a day as usable. My system updates automatically so maybe... I don't know. Its happening with mp4 files, mp3 files, wav files... every file type. It is happening across all file types. All drivers and everything is up to date.

Hi @Robb W,

Sorry you are experiencing issues. I'll ask the team to take a look at the crash reports submitted.

Do you recall if this coincided with any updates to your system and are your drivers up-to-date?

Is this happening with only this specific project or is it with others as well and what kind of media files are you working with?

Hope we can help you soon and sorry for the frustration,
Dani
