Premier Pro screen is green

Can anyone please help with this.

I shot footage on a Sony action cam in MP4 so it's 1920 x 1080.I matched that to the Premier Pro preset , but when I transfer the footage to the workspace it flashes a blank green screen on and off .

It plays back fine in Windows Media Player.

Ivé just had a computer built with 16 gb memory,5gb graphics, quad core i7 7700,and a Ge Force GTX 1050 GRAPHICS CARD.

Ivé been using Adobe for 15 years and never had this problem.

Can anyone please shed some light on this problem

          Thanks    James

    James,

When you double-click on it (to view it in the Source monitor) does it do the same thing? Or just when you drop it onto a timeline?

I'll try to help if I can.

James, is your GPU driver up-to-date? Are you running in GPU-acceleration mode? If you're in CUDA, what happens if you switch to OpenCL or Software Only mode?
