Premiere 13.0.3 video clips not showing up in preview window and timeline is not showing anything

I recently updated to 13.0.3 and now none of my video clips are working. I have tried restarting the program, placing everything in a new folder, and tried previous projects that used to work. Not sure what I can do but this is frustrating to have a system that is not working when I am paying $50 a month. Please help if you can. I am not sure how I can attach screenshots to show what I am talking about.

I just figured out what I needed to do was reset the preferences. I did this by holding down the alt key on mac while opening premiere pro. It asked to reset preferences and I selected yes. Now it is working! Thanks for your help!

Normally a blank program monitor means graphics card or driver issues. Have you tried changing through the Project settings options for software only and metal?
