Premiere 2017: Failure media correspondence

I updated Premiere CC 10.4 to Premiere 2017.

I ran Premiere and opened the last project, but all media files are marked as "offline". If i try to reconnect files, I have no audio and i get a message of "failure media correspondence".

If I open a new project and import the same files, i get no audio.

All these files have been used (and all were working) in Premiere CC 10.4; I tried to uninstall and reinstall all versions of Premiere and Media Encoder, but it sill doesn't work. I had the same problem whne updating from 10.3 to 10.4

How can i solve this problem? Thanks!

Clear all media cache again and rename top folder the footage is in.

    Really thanks to Ann.

First, I deleted all files in Media Cache and Media Cache Files, but it still didn't work.

When I renamed the top folder and opened the project, it searched for multimedia files and I have video and audio.

    Thanks! You saved my work!

Just deleting media cache is sometimes not enough.

Renaming forces Premiere to make new links.

I was having the same problem, i went into the folder that all the media cache folders were at and deleted all the files out of both the media cache and media cache files. then i qued up the file to render out and it's working fine now. i don't know if that helps you but it did help me.

did you got the message for the offline clips and to locate them when you start your project ? if not

delete the Media cache and Media Cache file folders and try again and see if thats will work
