Premiere 24.0 - Audio Crossfade Broken
When I apply an audio crossfade to a clip in a timeline, there is a "pop" at the start, meaning the fade does not start at silence in the first frame. Also, the duration of the crossfade is not adjusting correctly. With Premiere 23, you type "5" if you want your transition to be five frames. Now, you have to put "05" for it to be five frames. The duration will adjust visibly in the timeline. However, when you double-click on the transition to change the duration again, it is off by one frame. Instead of reading "5," it reads "4." If you have "10," it lists "9" -- it is always a HUGE mistake to upgrade with the Major.0 updates. -- I tried adding audio keyframes in the clip on the timeline instead of using the transition effect, but the first frame still pops as if the clip can no longer start in silence. Huge bummer for audio perfectionists...
