Premiere 24.2.1 - Mask point editing no longer works as usual

I create a simple mask for the clip in the effects editor and try to select several mask points with the rectangle selection.

This worked wonderfully in the previous version of Premiere, but unfortunately it no longer worked with version 24.2.1.

In addition, you cannot create masks with curves in one step using the pen tool. Only straight lines are drawn from point to point and only then can I modify them, which takes a huge amount of time.

All of our workstations run with the Windows 11.
