After I updated to the latest version playback is terrible.  When I opened the same project in Premiere Pro Beta playback is fine, when using Premeire Pro 24.3 playback is fine, but in this update it take forever for playback to begin and it the playback freezes mulitple time in the program and source monitors.

Im editing Canon c70 mfx and Raw Lite footage.

I was able to fix it by updated my nvidia driver and doing a reinstall of Premiere 24.4.1

I have the same problem but your solution didn't helped. My Premiere is still very slow. Sometimes I switch between the two "renderer" options (with and without GPU acceleration) and sometimes I have the feelings that this time it helped but only soon I'll find out that it's still awful slow.

If thats the case downgrading to version 24.3.0 is the fastest way to solve the issue. Version 24.4 had playback issues from day one and downgrading was/is the best way to get back on track again.

Thanks for the quick answer. I did this already. Version 24.3.0 (Build 59). But I've got the same problems. What confuses me a little: The colors of the clips in timeline changed with the 24.4 update to red and violet, but after I downgraded again, the colors were still the same. I hope they will soon fix this version. There are also small issues with deleting clips. They are marked but I they wont get deleted if I hit the "delete" key. I have to "mark" it again. Then it works.
