Premiere and Media Encoder won't render

I'm having this problem for quit a while, premiere or media encoder just stops at a random point not specific one without any errors  just stops for hours without any progress, I usually collects the project and send it to a coworker to render the video, even when I'm trying to make proxies with media encoder it stops at a random point without any errors

It doesn't happen every time but it's very frequent, I have the latest versions of premiere, nividia driver and windows 10

    Hi Mohamed,

But have you tried to move the footage to a different hard drive?

Some of our hard drives also drop to zero when copying big bunches of files sometimes for more than 10 minutes before they recover,

they are bottlenecking themselves. Try to move the project to an external hard drive, for example!

    Thanks

    Hi Mohamed,

Have you tried to change the location of the files i.e. is the folder structure where the files are kept is too long or complex?

This may happen if the Hard drive is not providing proper throughput and goes to 0%. You can keep Task Manager>Performance tab open and check.

I wonder if using the # sign in your folder naming for "Day#1" or even the apostrophe could be an issue. In general, I avoid using any common illegal characters in my workflow.

I have seen this issue too.

cpu and gpu drop to 0 (zero) right in the middle of an export job.
