Question

Premiere - can I change video length by altering sample rate and FPS?

Hello! I recorded a performance rehearsal yesterday and even though the performance audio was exactly 25 minutes long, the video is 24 min 21 secs duration. I suspect a sample rate and FPS difference to be the cause (video is 48/25 and audio project is 44.1/30.

Is there anyway that changing the Premiere project settings to 44.1/30 and the export settings to 44.1/30 would  make the video longer duration to match the length of the audio project and thereby synch to it? It's a very long shot but clutching at straws here.

Can anyone help? Many thanks in advance.

Hello Nancy - many thanks for responding. I use Mac Mojave 10.14.6 and premiere 2019 as it seems to be more stable than 2020 on my machine.
