HI

I have added a new video to Adobe Premiere CC 9, once it is imported Priemere will close straight away with an error message. I have had a read of other discussion and it says to change the mercury, but i dont seem to have that option. I have edited videos before in the same format and it has worked fine, it has only just started doing this today. Any ideas?

    Hi johnc86,

    1. Please post a screenshot of the error message to understand the issue better. FAQ: How do I capture and post a screen shot or video?

    2. Also update the GPU drivers Update the graphics driver | Windows 8, 7, Vista

    3. You can change the renderer in project settings

File > Project settings > General > Renderer > change it to Mercury Playback Engine Software only mode.

Please let us know the status.

    Thanks,

    Vidya  Sagar.

    Hi John,

Thanks for posting the error log. The Fault module name is pointing to AMD DLL file.

Please try to downgrade or update the GPU drivers & try to import.

    Thanks,

    Vidya
