Hello creators.

I have a big issue here and I can’t  find out what the problem is.

First, I read a lot about the adobe plug-inn from minetonka surcode but I can’t find
out if this plug-inn will solve my problem.

What I find out is this. I import a 5.1 video intro from Dolby.

On my time line it will play all the 6 track, known as: L, R, C, LS, RS and LFE.

I can see them all in the audio parameters.

When I export the file in EMPG2 AC3 or Dolby Digital 5.1 it create a new file.

When I play this file on my home theatre the amplifier shows al the 6 tracks indicators.

But: the volume is 50% les on all the channels.

Also the LFE indicator is on, but the LFE is gone/mute.

Hope that somebody can help me with this problem and how to solve this.

Thanks a lot for your help, I hope so.

Greetings
Stef

That is an odd 5.1 track order, Premiere works with L,R, C, LFE, Ls, Rs.

What do the levels look like if you bring the file back into Premiere.

    Hi Richard.

    thanks for your quick answer.

this evening i will import the rendert file so i can look to both files. The original and the rendert file must be the same.

But I think that the rendert file shows no LFE parameter moving at the moment when the thundercloud is pasing thru.

Even the 50% less of audio volume on all chanels except LFE (this one is mute) i don't understand.

i wil let you know this evening.

    greatings Stef.

    Hi Richard.

I made the test and find out where my problems starts.

I will tray too explain my issue.

The new sequence I made was 2.0 Dolby digital (without LFE I discover)

It was showing 5.1 tracks by playing the original file in Premiere when I look to my parameters.

But when I play the old rendered file the parameters switch to 2.0 stereo.

I made a new sequence in Dolby Digital 5.1 with enable LFE in state off Dolby digital 2.0.

I switched it to 5.1 in the main settings from the sequence and 4 more tracks appear.

    YESSSSSSSSS.

I render the file and now I have the possibility to activate Dolby Digital 5.1 en highlighted the enable wink for the LFE.

After render I put this one beside the original one.

The LFE works (fine) now at this moment.

But: I put booth files, the original one and the rendered one to my DVD player.

And YES, from the rendered file the LFE is working on the amplifier because the LFE indicator goes on and activate my external Klipsch Sub woofer.

But there is still an if??? (issue)

The 50% less audio is almost solved.

I lost 10 % in audio on the total track.

So I lift up the volume level in the audio track on the timeline from the original to the max.

But after rendering, the rendered file is not changed.

Is there a possibility to influence each track separately so I can the LFE a litlle more volume?

    So far from now on.

I hope that you can help me with this last part of my volume problem.

    The other things are solved.

    So many thanks Richard.

You helped me a lot for so far and saved me a lot of money. (Minetonka surcode for adobe 5.1, Grrrrr)

Hope to hear from you soon for my final problem.

    Thanks,

    Stef.
