Premiere crashes due to playback on second monitor

This problem started with Premiere CC 20 (around summer/autumn). Since the update Premiere freezes every time I open a project (without error message). It only happens when I load a project. I can open a new project.

After trying several things like reinstall Premiere, install older versions et cetera I solved the problem when I erased my workspace settings (before I had to create a new project and import the older one).

After a while the problem appeared again on some projects, but I found out that the preset "playback on second window" settings was the issue, which I would like to use. Is there a possibility t solve this bug?
