Premiere crashes when changing workspace

As the title says,

I just downloaded and installed Premiere,

some workspaces work, others, like Captions and Graphics, immediately crash it.

It's not custom workspaces that create the issue but default workspaces.

I can open the captions window on the "safe" workspaces (thank god!)

I sent the report to Adobe, leaving my email. The diagnostics found a possible fix and asked me to reset some preferences. I said ok but the problem is still there. The same fix is then advised after the next crash.

I already reset all preferences by pressing Alt while launching Premiere, to no avail.

I even tried to cancel all the custom workspaces, even though they don't seem to be responsible for the issue. Oddly, they always appear after I launch the software again. Previous version of Premiere Pro have been installed on my computer reset previously.

For anyone interested, the problem was linked to Boris FX Continuum that was installed of my computer before I updated to the latest version of Premiere Pro. Whenever I opened the effects tab the software would crash, so any workspace with the effects tab would also crash Premiere.

I went to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore and moved out the plug-in folders one by one to see if the progrm would stabilize. The folder named Continuum Plug-ins was responsible for the problem.

Hi @stefano_4855,

Thanks for reporting back. Please contact Maxon for troubleshooting issues with your Boris Continuum plug-ins. Hopefully, an update will solve the problem. It would cool to see you using those plug-ins as you did in the past. If you have time, let us know what happens. It would help others!

Cheers,
Kevin

Update 2:

I just noticed that Premiere crashes when I try to open the effects tab. It probably crashes when I try to open a workspace because the panel is in it.

Some effects packs are installed on my computer. I'd prefer not to uninstall them all right now. I wonder if there's a way to know which one is causing the problem.

Update: I uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. I didn't keep the preferences though some things must be saved in a file because I still had my custom workspaces.
