Premiere Crashing Upon Startup, 2026

I’m using a 2019 Mac running Monterey 12.3; I haven’t updated because I’ve heard Premiere doesn’t work well with the new update. Anyways, since yesterday, Premiere suddenly froze, so when I exited the program and tried to start it back up, it has consistently crashed upon startup each time.

I’ve cleared the cache four times, restarted a dozen more, force quit, basically every method under the sun except reinstall. Before this happened I was trying to put my project into 4K. Normally a simple computer restart fixes the problem, I even deleted the project that I was trying to convert to 4K, but nothing has changed. I can’t even create a new project without it crashing before it even opens the program.
