Premiere Freezing Pinwheel with new update

My Premiere is freezing every few seconds with the pinwheel after the new update. I tried renewing my preferences, uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing cache, copying timelines into a new project, all with no solution. 

 

Now I've opened Premiere and before even opening a project, it's freezing up. 

 

Anyone have any solutions for this?

    Any .MXF files in the project?

     

    If yes, downgrade to 24.3 since MXF+24.4=Problems.
