Premiere - Help file or easily searchable help

I really miss the old help files which provided a comprehensive resource of all different aspects of the software.

Where is the help file?  The main support page that is accessed from the Help menu isn't very convenient since it often lists dozens of answers which have nothing to do with Premiere after entering a search term.  And results include a lot of tutorials and videos -which are of no interest to me.

I just want to quickly and conveniently look up certain commands or  interface elements not watch a video.  Help files used to make this so easy.

The Premiere User guide linked off the main Support page isn't very useful because I don't see a Search feature.  Where is it?  How can there be no smart search tool on this dedicated page.

It's been like this for years -- I don't understand how the help system is very convenient.  The forums are great of course, but  where is a simple searchable comprehensive reference guide?

In the Help menu option, the top one ... gets you to this page:

What you want is found by clicking the User Guide in the middle that I underlined in red.

It isn't the most wonderful manual, to be polite, but it's better than nothing. Doing a feature request for a vastly improved manual is something I always suggest ...

Adobe Bug Report /Feature Request form ...

Thanks Neil.

I'm aware of that "guide".  It is terrible and nowhere as useful as the old Help files.  And there is no obvious search function which I find absurd.

Yea ... that whole search of all Adobe products when you are clearly looking for help in one ... what a pain!
