Premiere keeps freezing

Hi,

since the last update Premiere keeps freezing after a certain time (between 10-15 min, sometimes more). When it freezes I'm still able to save or move the sliders, but the image is frozen in Reference Monitor and I can't click or load Footage from the folders. This happens during Renders/Exports too. When closing the program it gives me a full freez and I have to shut down Premiere via Task Manager.

I tried reinstalling, deleting cache and presets. Downgrading to the last version doesn't help either. I'm having this issue on a different machine as well. I'm running on a Laptop T470 Win10 64 Bit. No such troubles so far.

Greatful for any advice.

Try resetting the preferences:

FAQ: How to reset preferences in Premiere Pro?

If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:

Reset a workspace

Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
    • Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.

from here:

If that doesn’t work ,try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site.
