Premiere Lags After Screensaver

Question

Premiere is always lagg-y after my screensaver comes on, the only way to fix is to quit out and relaunch the program. The other solve is to turn my screen saver off and set the computer to turn the screen off after idling instead.

Anyway, would prefer Premiere never lag.

Sorry for the issue. For clarification, does Premiere Pro lag or completely freeze when you exit the screen saver? Let us know if you see any error codes or messages. Could you let us know your current version of Premiere Pro and system specifications (OS, OS version, CPU, GPU, RAM)? We're here to help. Just need some info.
