Premiere no working if i have more than 5 project files, it doesnt matter what they are. Video matches timeline sequence and ive tried with many differnt recording resolutions/sequences.

Has been doing this since i bought this new PC. I have re-installed both the progam and accoicated drivers.

Try resetting the preferences:
https://community.adobe.com/t5/Premiere-Pro/FAQ-How-to-reset-trash-preferences-in-Premiere-Pro/td-p/8236158

If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:
Reset a workspace
Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
• Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.
from here:
https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/workspaces.html

If that doesn’t work, try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site.

It looks like the preview is simply lagging. Give ProRes or Cineform proxies a try and see how it goes.

(Don't use h.264 proxies)

so i recorded some stuff in pro res today even did a quick grade on it. Works fine, until I have more than 5 items in my project. And it doesnt matter what the file is, another piece of video or music, its just that 5th piece of media. It doesnt even have to be dragged to my sequence, the second its in priemere, the whole thing goes to crap.
