Premiere Playback Lag

Whenever I try to scrub through my timeline, make a cut, play footage, or really anything in Premiere, my computer freezes for 2-5 minutes. I'm currently using GPU acceleration, deleted all thee files in my media cache, lowered my resolution, and I'm still dealing with these problems.

 

Considering my specs, I don't understand why I'm still dealing with this lag (even after following nearly every piece of advice online). Any ideas?

 

Specs:

Graphics Card is a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060

We're sorry about the poor experience. Let us know the specifications of the media files you are working with (format/codec, frame rate & frame size). Also, have you tried resetting app preferences & checked if it's working properly?
