Premiere Pro 13.1 Playback Problems for iPhone Footage

Just installed Premiere Pro 13.1 and tried to playback footage (H.264) from iPhone XS.

The files do not playback at the timeline, so I was forced to revert back to Premiere Pro 13.0.3.

Can you address this problem and find a solution?

Thanks,

What exactly happens when you try to playback these clips in Premiere Pro 13.1? Are you seeing black video with only audio playing or some other issue?

For 13.1, could you try quitting Premiere Pro, then deleting the Media Cache, Media Cache Files and Peak Files folders, then launch Premiere Pro, create a new Project and try import of the clips again in 13.1? FAQ: How to clean (delete or trash) media cache files?

If the clips still fail, could you go to Preferences > Media and uncheck "Enable hardware accelerated decoding (requires restart)", Save, Quit Premiere Pro, delete Media Cache, Media Cache Files & Peak Files folders, then launch Premiere Pro and try clips again.

If that does not work, could you quit Premiere Pro, and then hold down Option/Alt + Shift keys. You should be presented with a dialog asking if you want to reset your plug-in cache and preferences. Click OK and try clips again.

If nothing resolves the issue, would it be possible for you to supply us with some sample clip(s) for investigation?

    Thank you!
