premiere pro 14.04 update

Hi,

can't open anymore premiere pro 14.03 because the 14.04 update faill. I can't insatll the previous version. Don't understand why.

OK, be sure to run the Adobe Cleaner after you uninstall the programs and before you re-install them:

I installed 14.04 as a normal update - no clean install, just ran an update as normal. Anyway - NOW - it takes MUCH longer for the program to start since I installed the 14.04 update - - ?

I'm not having that issue, and I haven't seen it around here as such. You could try reinstalling and using the cleaner tool above. That erases everything adobe, not your own files, but make backups of things, especially projects / clips, etc, the usual stuff you shoudl be backing up anyway. There's not that much different from 04 and 03, so, it sounds odd. Is it just opening PP or when opening a specific project or two?
