Premiere Pro 15.0 crashing when opening larger projects

I'm running Premiere Pro 15.0 on a MacBook Pro (Early 2015), OS 10.14.6.

I will be getting a new MacBook soon with a new OS, etc., but for a few more weeks, I need to keep using my current system.

For the past several weeks, when I try to open one of my larger projects, Premiere tries to load all the media, then crashes when there are 3 media files left. I've tried using a Production and breaking the project into three smaller projects, but the crash still occurs.

The only workaround I've found is to create a new project, then import the previous project into it. That seems to work. But it's an onerous workaround.

I tried to do a clean reinstall, but when I uninstalled v15 (I had a later one than 15.0), I wasn't able to find an installer for v15. Adobe sent me an installer but they only have v15.0.

Anyone have any ideas?
