Premiere Pro 2018 Immediately Crashing When Opening The Exporter

I am using Sony footage at 4k and I have a very capable computer to handle a task like rendering but every time I try to select Export --> Media Premiere Pro says that there has been a serious error and it all shuts down. I have looked through numerous forums and webistes to no avail. Can someone help? Thanks.

Hi alanbeard,

Sorry for the inconvenience. Just for a test change the renderer in File > Project settings > General > Renderer & try export again.

If the issue persists, check the permissions: fixing permissions problem that impedes start of Adobe applications | Creative Cloud blog by Adobe
