Premiere Pro 2018 Multi Cam Edit

I'm running Win 7 Pro for Premiere Pro 2018. I had support handle the audio file issue when it was first installed but now find problems with sync of audio files with camera files doing multi cam edit. Did not have this problem with earlier installs of Premiere Pro. Is this a known bug?

What media are you using, and what options are you setting in the Multi-Cam options dialog? A screen grab of the options dialog would be good to include by either drag/dropping a png or jpg onto the reply box or using the flower-in-a-box icon in the middle of the reply box formatting bar to navigate to and select the image file.

Hi Neil,

The sequence has MP4, .mov, wav and mp3 files in it. 1920x1080. One 12 mins mov file (main camera) was out of sync but

it was almost in sync when processed. I tried processing it twice with different settings and it didn't sync properly so I left this camera out for 12 mins when i did the multicam edit. Other files from this same camera did sync (audio on the cam files were fine) it was a 40 mins wedding ceremony.

Regards,

Brian

Many mp3 files don't work well or less reliably than one can trust, so it's better to convert those to wav's in Audition.

For doing multi-cam in PrPro user Jim Simons recommends a particular manual sync process that works pretty quick. You can search this forum for manual multi-cam plus his name.
