Premiere Pro 2018 upgrade removal of Audio FX

Hi.

I recently upgraded from 11.1.2 and found that a number of the audio fx I'd used on a project were now missing. Is there a way to retrieve fx from earlier versions? If not, how can I revert back to 11.1.2?

Much thanks.

You can't go back to 11.1.2 as it's no longer available.  It's been replaced by 11.1.4, which no longer includes the Dolby decoder.

Changes to Dolby Decoding and Encoding Support

To the best of my knowledge, none of the included audio effects were dropped in 2018.  So my first guess is that you were using plug-ins that just aren't showing up in 2018.  You may have to reinstall those.  Check the manufacture's web site for updated versions.

Hi Jim. Thanks. I don't think this was a plugin problem, but as it turns out the problem has been resolved. I installed it a 2nd time and this time all the effects were present. Something must have gone wrong with either the first installation, or the creation of the substitute file. Really appreciate the help though.
