Premiere Pro 2019 Essential graphics - Properties are not animating

The properties in premiere pro are not animating. I can add properties like position, trim paths etc in After Effects and animate them but when i import file to PP 2019 it doesn't animate. The properties are present in the essential graphics panel but don't animate unless you manually move the sliders. I'm experiencing these so far with shape layers but haven't tried with solid layers etc. Please help, i need a solution fast.

I'm using a Windows 10 with the latest build and Intel Core i5 processor. Thats all i know about computer specs.
