Premiere Pro 2020 crashing and slowing down when a keyframe is added or moved

Hi Guys, i've expereince crashing and slowdown whenever i add a keyframe or animate either in the time line or in the effect control panel, this is after i installed and updated to Adobe Premiere 2020. Are there anyone experiencing the same issue, coz this is kind of anoying whenever you try to create an animation or placing an effect then moving the keyframe. I'm using a Mac Pro Mojave, Intel Xeon E5 with 16gb ram.

    I and several of my friends all are having this issue. it is not limited to Mac. It doesnt do it in every project either. I have projects that do it and some that dont. The ones that do it will do it on any machine mac or windows. I have tried a project that does it on about 4-5 PCs all very new i9-9900K with nvidia RTX cards and one with a 1080ti. I have tried it on 3 different Mac computers as well. all will exhibit this problem in this project. I have other projects made with same a cameras and sources made around the same time. that do not have this issue. I have 2 projects that exhibit this behavior. I have tried copying the content of the timeline into a new project and it still does it.

    All of my other projects work fine except these 2. on these any time I add or move a Keyframe on poistion or scale it freezes premiere pro for about 4-5 seconds. this makes it agonizing to get anything done.

    This bug is still here on 2022 version, Mac Ventura M1max. Whenever  keyframes are to be deleted by clicking on stopwatch after the warning PR hangs.

    Hi there!

    Thank you for providing the specifications of your machine. I understand that Premiere Pro crashes while working with keyframes. Am I correct?

    You may try to delete media cache files and reset preferences.

    It will make your settings default. Let us know if it helps.

    Thank you Kartika, i tried it and even reinstalled the program and removing the preferences, it did not happen in the old version before, it did happen when i tried placing a keyframe, moving the keyframe animating then the program freezes

    Have you customized your workspace? If so, switch to a default workspace.

    Also, let us know if you experience the same behaviour in all the projects.

    Does it happen in a blank project with just bars & tone?

    no, it happens when i place a keyframe and animating it
