Premiere Pro 2020 - Keyframe Scale Not Working

I just updated to Premiere Pro 2020 and a simple task as scaling an image with keyframes is not working properly. For example if I set two keyframes (i.e. 100% to 125%) no matter how far apart on the timeline, it does not gradually scale as it should. The numbers move when you preview, but the image scale just abruptly jumps to the percent scale set at when the time hits that keyframe. Seems like a bug that needs fixing... Guess I'll be headed back to CC 2019.

I discovered that the Scale keyframing does not work independently. Only when I enable any keyframing on the Position as well is when it started to work. While this works as a "work around" for now, the fact of the matter is that the Scale keyframe should work independently as it did before. Not sure what changed? Note: I tried the auto bezier for tempral interpolation to no avail. Only when I enabled position keyframes that the scale worked.

I had something similar too.  I was trying to do it after time-remapping though (slowing down a clip).  So had to remove time/speed remapping (simple 47% adjustment), then go back and scale like I wanted, then add the time remapping afterwards.  Worked fine when I did that.  Based off what you're saying though, completely different experience.  Just sharing for some that my solution might work for.

Set keyframes to auto bezier for temporal interploation.
