Premiere Pro 2022 audio clip appearance doesn't change after roundtrip from Audition

While working in PrProj 2022 and edit a clip in Audition, save, and head back to Premiere, the appearance of the clip hasn't changed. It is still blue instead of green, and if I've converted if from mono to stereo, it still shows up as stereo. It is, in fact, linked to the revised clip, but anyone collaborating on the file would think it hasn't been edited.

This happens both on my MacBook Pro and iMac. I haven't worked in PrProj for a couple of weeks but the software is automatically updated.

Please advise, and thanks!

You can turn auto update off.

No, I don't want to turn auto-update off...I'm wondering why my roundtripped audio clip [PrProj > Audtion > PrProj] looks unchanged in my sequence. Before, a clip edited in Audition and returned to the sequence would have changed color and shown the edits, i.e. mono converted to stereo showed up back in PrProj as green and stereo. Now I can't tell if the clip has been edited until I look at the link.

I'm guessing this is some kind of setting but I've been through the preferences and don't see it.

Thanks in advance,

Margot

I just stated that the software was automatically updated to show that I was working with the latest version...
