This happened last year same time and they fixed it after many months.  THEY FIXED IT.  Now with update on May 3, it is back with all footage types.  No other issues with other programs or with computer.  Cannot waste time with months of their excuses. need it to work, prior to May 3 no such issues this year. Same footgaes/media should not be doing this. Thank you.

sorry, this was a previous issue.  It was eventually solved by PP techs, I am not sure what they did but this issue just went away by itself in Nov 2024.

Which Pr version and build?

Post computer specs and footage type/codec used.

THanks I will get all of that and post it shortly.  As for footage, various kinds and sources, but the issue is more upon opening and using PP itself, and this is all footage I have used previously with no issues.  I will get the computer specs and post.

Adding to my original post, this is going on with no changes using same drives and media I was using prior to May 3.
