Premiere Pro 2024 Consolidation not working at all!

I have tried consolidating 3 projects (each about 1.5 TB worth of material), all of them choked after several hours of transcoding and copying. WHen it's done with transcoding/copying files, I just get a generic error message "unable to complete, please try again." Not only that, all of the files it copied automatically are deleted. My workaround was to save those files once I got the error message into another folder, then check the sequence to see if there was any missing media. There were a few files, but ultimately that worked. PLEASE Adobe, resolve these issues!

System: Mac Studio m2 Ultra, 64 gb, OS Sonoma 14.3.1

Media drives: Samsung SSD.

Premiere Pro 24.1

This is a brand new system with a clean install, and this is simply maddening. In addition, I've had multiple issues with speed (as others have complained), tons of spinning beach balls and very slow performance in multicam mode.

Yesterday I decided to attempt a roll back to 2022, however all of the projects are in newer versions and I've tried several different ways to roll them back, but none worked. I hate the thought of more wasted time rolling back on the OS, but if that helps resolve this, I'll do it!
