Premiere Pro 2024 Freezes After Clicking File > Import

Hello,

I recently updated to Premiere Pro 2024 on my PC and have been experiencing a very frustrating issue. Multiple times throughout my work day, Premiere will completely freeze when I try to import files. Simply after clicking File>Import, the screen hangs and never recovers. I've waited up to 30 minutes to no avail. My computer has more than enough processing power/memory, and my media cache is clear. Can someone please help me troubleshoot this? It's incredibly frustrating, especially when I haven't saved recently and lose hours of progress. Thanks!
