Premiere Pro 2025 Issues on Windows OS

For almost 3 years I have had issues with Premiere Pro running properly. The program continually crashes no matter what type of project is opened, playback in my source and program monitors are very slow, and audio glitches continually glitches. I have also had issues with adobe Bridge not batch-renaming files correctly. My workaround is to restart my computer as many times as I need until Bridge works properly. 

 

Here are my specs:

Premiere Version: 25.1

Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor 3.40 GHz

RAM: 128 GB
System type: 64-bit, x64 based processor 

OS: Windows 10 Enterprise 

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080

    Yep me too. Lots and lots and lots of issues on premium hardware like the MacBook m4 Pro and even my spec'd out Windows desktop. Good thing Adobe software is not expensive. Oh wait...

    Be sure you use the studio driver, not the gaming driver

    I'm getting OK performance on the short videos I edit. I am an optimization freak. 🙂

    As far as Bridge, I don't use it much and never for renaming. But here is the program I've using for some years now, and it's really good. https://www.advancedrenamer.com/

    Hello @tucker_9227,

    Thanks for the question and welcome to the forum. I am sorry for the issues you are facing. Since you are on Windows, have you updated the OS lately? Do you have dual monitors? Are the monitors set up at a different scaling? Let me know so I can provide some possible workaround for you. There's a bug affecting such editors. Let me know more information, so I can help you.

    Kevin,

    Thank you for your timely response. I could easily upgrade the OS, but my colleague is on the current Windows OS and has even more problems with Premiere than I do! 
    I do have dual monitors. They're both scaled to 100% (recommended).
