Premiere Pro 24.0 is not working.

I just downloaded the new version of Premiere Pro on my macbook air. But when I want to open it, it says that Premiere Pro is damaged... What can I do to fix it? Because I have plenty of deadlines next week... I've never had a problem with premiere, so it's really weird that it happens now...

Correct answer Johan-B

Edit: Just saw that Premiere still not support Sonoma, well well 🥹

Same problem here, Mac Book Pro M1, Sonoma 14. "Adobe Premiere Pro 2024" is damage and cant be opend. You should move it to the Bin."

Have used the Adobe Cleaning Tool and restarted, installed, restarted, same problem, never had this issue before, I hope they working on a fix, we pay alot for these subscriptions. 😶

Follow Ann's instructions.

Yeah okay, but that doesn't solve my problem? What can I do to make it work?

If you have deadlines, you do not upgrade: that is asking for trouble.

Finish in the version you started and start fresh in 24.0

But if you want to pursue this:

uninstall.

use cleaner tool.

re-install.

Same issue here. I followed your instructions, but it didn't work. I uninstalled Creative Cloud and all Adobe Apps, then downloaded it again and installed Premiere, but the same problem occurred. I was working fine with the previous version. I have a MacBook Air 2023 running macOS Sonoma.

You can install 2023 again... that's still available. 2024 is work fine for me.

You didn't mention the cleaner, did you run that?

B

e sure to run the Adobe Cleaner after you uninstall the programs and before you re-install them:
Also, reboot your computer between steps even if you are not asked to...
