Premiere Pro 24.1 4x slower!

I upgraded from Premiere Pro 24.0.3 because it claimed to be 4x faster but it's actually 4x slower and is super glitchy all the time. Don't upgrade to this version!

    Update: I reset the preferences and now it's singing! Such a relief.

      For the vast majority of users, it is faster. For some, it isn't. And for most of those, there are things to sort out that gets it running better.

       

      Like ... making sure the Preferences audio Default Input is set to 'none', odd as it sounds. That alone has taken a lot of users with jumpy playback issues to full speed instantly.

       

      So if you actually post your hardware, OS, and media plus effects used, ''we" can frequently get it sorted and you working.

      Everyone's mileage always varies ...
