Premiere Pro 24.6.1 audio level meter not working

The audio level meter is not working. I used two different computers. Same result yetti mic. The input meter is blank but is recording audio cleared cache, reset preferences, uninstalled and reinstalled software. Any help please?

no audio play back in real time with loudness meter either

Is the audio level meter only not working when you're recording, or does it happen with any audio in the Timeline?

If it's limited to recordings, I recommend checking Settings > Audio Hardware > Default Input, as well as the input settings outside of Premiere. If you have other software that records audio, see if it receives a signal when Premiere doesn’t—this can help narrow down the cause.

When I'm done recording there's audio on the timeline but there's no movement at all during the meter. Should I try with Adobe audition
