Few days ago when i trying to render the timeline or export premiere pro crash, sometimes shows a window from a creative cloud diagnostic and the issue is that i need to update premiere pro to a 24.6.1 but i already have this version, sometimes when i try to render or export premiere pro just closed without a window.

I did this options from online tips and keep crashing

- Update Nvidia Graphics to a last drivers (Studio driver not gaming)

- Clean all cache files and temps

- Work without thirt party plugins

- Downgrade premiere pro to another version

- Downgrade graphics driver to another version

- Re-install Premiere

My PC:

ROG Maximus Z790 Hero

GPU Gygabyte 4090 24 VRAM

Intel i9 14900K

128 GB RAM DDR5 6400

4 TB Samsung SSD 990 Pro (Only Used 20%)

I did some projects a few days ago and everything was perfect, i dont know whats happening.

Thanks in advance.

SOLUTION UPDATE

After being under a lot of stress for almost a week, Premiere Pro would crash and close unexpectedly when trying to render or export.

I tried possible solutions that made no changes:

- Clear Cache
- Reset Premiere preferences
- Use the previous version of Premiere
- Use the previous version of Nvidia Studio video drivers
- Reinstall Premiere
- Reinstall Nvidia Ge Force
- Create a new project and import the project with errors
- Move the project to another hard drive
- Use Premiere without third-party plugins

I even did a clean install of my operating system, Windows from the beginning, installed drivers again and Premiere kept crashing.

I was giving up until I remembered that years ago I had a problem with another similar software, I went into the BIOS of my computer, THE SOLUTION was to activate the XMP Profile, when I restarted with that change booooom! Rendering and Exporting completed without any errors.

I continued working on several projects and it continues to work perfectly.

Maybe someone might have a similar problem and here I come to leave my blessed solution that ended my problems in Premiere, thanks to everyone for their contributions and helpful comments.

Round of applause to Adobe for requiring a BIOS change to keep their product running...

Yes, I agree but not with an upvote. Adobe let's user use their own hardware. There was a time you had to buy the hardware from the software vendor. So, you never know what kind of hardware and what bios setting it may have. Sometimes users have to adjust, even their settings. So, cheers, yes, we can use our own hardware.

Very cool! Way to go @Javier Olivas Photography

Thanks for posting abck also.

So, what drives do you have installed now, what are you doing with the 2tb and 4tb

I currently have 9 storage units but the main ones are these 2 for premiere use:

C: 2 TB Samsung 990 Pro - Operating System

E: 4 TB Samsung 990 Pro - Files and projects to work

The rest are backups and steam games and personal files

You have a very strong system, sorry you went thru that. I was going to ask you earlier if you had any overclocks on the machine, or head up displays to show fps in games, etc. I'm glad you got it...

I'm currently having the same problem but I have a Mac. Do I need to do what you did? and how do I go about doing that? Thanks!

Did you try a different project? Try with a new project, dump in some clips and onto the timeline and see if it will export. Also, create a new project and IMPORT into it, the problem project. Give that a try.

Oh, and you can then leave your 4tb as is, and boot to it again, if need be, before you eliminate the Windows folder and such.

Cant belive this! Still Crashing, when i click to render in to out, a couple senconds and premiere app just closed! :,(

I wonder if it might be due to a Windows update?

Try System Restore?

My project has been running very slow, my temporary solution has been to insert a clip, and immediately edit and render that clip alone, if I try to render with many clips, it immediately crashes.
